A power diverter for manual or automated switching of solar arrays from one load to another.

Intended for applications that require dynamic PV string arrangements to meet load demands.

See source and load information in real time on display.

  • Product Summary
  • Specification
  • Documentation
  • Accessories

Creating a dynamic PV string arrangement allows panels to configured based on load demands. With a single input and dual outputs, the power diverter can be used in place of bulky and expensive high power DC circuit breakers or transfer switches. Can be operated manually or used with a trigger input to control from another device.

Developing Products

The products shown above can easily be adopted for other applications. The electronics and software were designed to be modular and can work with any resistive load. In our pipeline are the following projects.

Thermal storage (solids), multi-element PV direct.

There was a time when electric thermal storage units were popular due to high heating costs and a on-peak/off-peak setup. At that time solar prices were soaring so the two technologies never had the chance to integrate.

Heater (air), stand alone and parallel charger/battery bank operation.

Electric heat has many advantages over hydronic based systems. No need for plumbing or worry about frozen pipes. These heaters can be mobile plug in space heaters or in-line duct assemblies for augmenting larger heating systems.
